Networks Connect LLC is conducting a search for a Maintenance Team Lead on 2nd Shift located in Columbus, OH. Our client creates structural products building products for companies globally. As a Maintenance Technician Lead, you will be responsible for safely maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on the plant equipment as well as building systems. You will also oversee the day to day activities of the Maintenance Technicians by scheduling work, coaching and mentoring team members and identifying training opportunities to improve the skill set of those within the department. This position is full time, Monday through Thursday 4:30pm – 3am with overtime as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Manage the work of the technicians. (20%)
Provide hands on training. (20%)
Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems. (20%)
Coach and mentor technicians. (20%)
Work on special projects as necessary. (20%)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent or a combination of education and experience is required.
Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification (will certify at hire) required.
2-4 years of related experience and training.
Prints work from blueprints, electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
Computer skills: Operate various computer programs for part stocking and ordering, time keeping, and support Tech Work Order processing.
Safety: Understand and support OSHA rules and requirements.
Math: Able to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Language: Able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Reasoning: Able to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Able to work with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Able to work with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
